WP8 Samsung ATIV S Neo and HTC 8XT announced


WP8 Samsung ATIV S Neo and HTC 8XT are now also in the run for Windows Phone 8.¬†Two new Windows Phone 8 offerings will be making their way stateside on Sprint’s 4G LTE network this summer.

HTC 8XT will have a 4.3-inch display of WVGA resolution as well as a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a 1.4 GHz dual-core Krait CPU. It has a 8 GB of internal memory, with 1GB of RAM & can be expanded upto 64GB from a microSD card slot and with a 1800 mAh battery.

While the Samsung ATIV S Neo, like the regular¬†ATIV S, will include¬†a 4.8-inch display of 720p resolution ¬†not sure if it’ll be of the AMOLED variety), a dual core 1.4 GHz processor,1 GB of RAM, a 2000 mAh battery and with a 1.9 MP front facing camera.

Both Windows Phone will be on contract pricing. It is $99 for the HTC 8XT (after $50 rebate), and $149 for the Samsung ATIV S Neo (after $50 rebate).


Now update your Sony Xperia ion to Android 4.1.2

In this updates seasons, we have a good news for Sony Xperia ion users. Now they can update their smart-phone to Android 4.1.2.

The Sony Xperia ion was launched in June 2012 with 2.3 Gingerbread and got it first updates to Ice-cream Sandwich after four months of its release. After Ice-cream Sandwich updates they promised soon to launch Jelly Bean updates for the smart-phone, but it was postponed a few times.

But now the wait is over and Xperia ion users will soon get update notifications on their smart-phone.



A look at WP8 Huawei Ascend W2 before its announcement

We have heard about this smart-phone many time earlier in the month of May, with some of it pictures in yellow and red color and with a rumor of price tag below $300.

But today in an official event in China, the Huawei Ascend W2 was showcased. The W2 packs a 4.3-inch WVGA display and runs on the Qualcomm MSM8230 Snapdragon S4 Plus chipset with a dual-core 1.4GHz Krait processor, Adreno 305 graphics and 512MB of RAM. It also includes 8MP of camera, 8GB of internal expandable via a microSD card slot and with a 1700mAH battery. The Ascend W2 will be available in blue, red and yellow colors.

It is supposed that Chinese user can have the first taste of the phone because the model showcased at the event was headed to China Mobile. The pricing and the availability info of Huawei Ascend W2 is not confirmed yet.
