Just before the launch, the complete spec sheet of the Lumia 1020 gets leaked

Nokia is trying pretty hard to gain a strong foothold in the smartphone arena but Windows Phone as the choice of operating system for doing so seems to be a move which is something questionable. But the company wants to go ahead with it and wants to launch a smartphone with something it is best at. The big camera sensor. Nokia is all set to launch the Lumia 1020 with a 41MP camera sensor and right before the launch, the spec sheet of the device alongwith some press renders seem to have skipped on to the interweb.

The smartphone will have a 4.5 inch display like the Lumia 925 . It will come with a 6 element smartphone lens and HAAC mics for that crystal clea recording. The display unit will be a 2,5D sculpted gorilla glass unit and will feature the Super Sensitive mode for glove and nail usage like majority of its siblings. Under the hood will be the same 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragonn processor that powers the Lumia 820,920 and 925. It will be joined in by a 2GB RAM which will be the first time ever that a Windows Phone will get a 2GB RAM.

At the back will be a mammoth 41-megapixel camera sensor which will have a 3x zoom. It is expected to weigh 158 grams which is slightly heavy. The thickness will be 10.4mm minus the camera bulge. It will also get a Camera grip as a part of the accessory package. The camera is the only talking point about the device and the camera unit will come with a BSI sensor, Optical Image Stabilization, 6 lens optics, Xenon Flash for pictures and an LED for video recording. The front camera unit will be a 1.2MP HD camera with a wide angle lens.

Connectivity will be taken care of by LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS with Glonass. A 2,000 mAh battery unit will be giving it the juice and it will come with a wireless charging cover as well. The device has been subject to a lot of leaks recently and the spec sheet getting leaked completes all the aspects of the device. And now we await the official announcement.
