I am incomplete
missing some essential part
a wheel with no hub
turns not, remaining
frozen in place

What is it that I need
that which would set me free?
I sit at the feet of gurus
seek the wisdom of stars
strain to hear the whispers
of wisdom hung suspended
in the wind. Yet I find no
solace and roam the earth
a soul without a soul
searching for that which
all the while lies within.
